Why deduct the transaction fees?
We value your trust in us, so we ensure that our relationship with you is sustained in transparency and integrity. We partner with trusted and reliable, industry-leading payment processors to accept and disburse funds.
To maintain safety and security on Flangar, we deduct transaction fees to cover the cost of credit/debit card charges, mobile money charges, and the safe disbursement of funds.
When will my account be credited?
After a successful campaign, you must make a withdrawal request from “My Account”. Your bank account is credited in two working days (T+2 days). For example, a request received on Wednesday is settled on Friday.
Any minimum payout thresholds?
After a successful campaign, creators can opt to receive the funds via a registered mobile money wallet or into a bank account depending on the amount raised. Payouts via mobile money have no minimum threshold, but payouts made via bank accounts have a minimum threshold of GHS 500.
What is a successful campaign?
To ensure that creators receive sufficient funds to bring their projects to life, a creator should be able to reach at least 75% of the funding goal to be able to make a withdrawal request. Campaigns that have raised at least 75% of the funding goal are considered successful. If you are unable to reach at least 75% of your funding goal, contributions will be returned to backers after the end of the campaign. This is to ensure that funds are not misappropriated.
